-Two rolls of toilet paper
-Two empty soda cans
-Rubber bands
-A dowel for the toilet paper (we used a broom handle)
Set Up:
An empty soda can was tied the end of a roll of toilet paper. Contestants shot rubber bands at the toilet paper to make the paper rip and the can fall.
To Play:
We had two teams of five. Each contestant shot 3 rubber bands and then had to go to the back of of the line and let the next team member go. Goal was to make the can fall first.
Complications:
Had to tape the roll to the dowel so it wouldn't free spin.
Moved the shooting line closer to rolls after there were no hits for the first round.
The teens seemed to be able to get distance, but not accuracy. Took several tries.
One teen discovered the stagey of working their way from one end of the paper to the other to make it rip quicker. He was only one to really succeed.
Conclusion:
Game was alright. Probably wouldn't do it again though.
